Haiti Humanitarian and Medical Mission December 26-30, 2016
Journey with Dr. Joy Elion, I AM ABEL FOUNDATION'S Medical Director of Global and International Health as she travels again to Haiti for our volunteer mission. As you may know, Haiti is the poorest country in our Western Hemisphere and time has clearly shown that it is also often the most forgotten as well. In the wake of Hurricane Matthew, our previously planned visit has even more value.
Dubbed the worst humanitarian crises since Haiti's 2010 Earthquake, Haiti needs our help NOW and in the many long months to come.
What We Need
We will be collecting and bringing supplies of all kinds and will be coordinating drop off sites in the near future. We will need toiletries, antibiotics, medication, soap, toothpaste and countless resources that we in America often take for granted. Many of our Scholars will be traveling with us and you are welcome to join us ! We would appreciate your donations to purchase needed medications and supplies for the orphanage we will visit and tend to. Your donations will also help to defray the costs of an inner city scholar who otherwise would not be able to afford to give his service during this volunteer mission.
Support Our Haiti Humanitarian Mission Today
Donors, please place in comments section that your donation is specifically for Haiti mission and 100% of your donation will go to support the people of Haiti and their student volunteers.

The approximate cost of the trip is about $1,500. Transportation is arranged to and from the airport. We will be staying at the Chances for Children guesthouse.
The cost of housing includes breakfast and dinner and there will be an opportunity to stop at the grocery store to buy items for lunch during the week. The guesthouse does have electricity, running water and Wi-Fi access.
