FOR PROSPECTIVE PHYSICIAN & MEDICAL STUDENT MENTORS

Join us and become A Physician or Medical Student Mentor for the URBAN BRIDGES MEDICAL MENTORING PIPELINE PROGRAM.

We encourage our physician mentors to apply year around.  We typically match physician mentors to mentees annually between March and May.  This corresponds with our admission cycle for students in our mentoring programs.  For that reason we need to identify a strong cohort of available physicians each year as students are only admitted based on our ability to place them with a mentor.  As need develops, we will often match a mentee with a mentor off cycle as well so having physicians available and ready to pair with a mentee helps us create a robust system of mentee support.

We also recruit medical student students year around.  While they too are often paired with a mentee between March and May, medical students may be paired year around with mentees from our Student Affiliate Program as those students are admitted with rolling admission.
