We had to take a moment to shout out our amazing I Am Abel Foundation Mentees that have advanced to the semi-finalist round for the Posse Foundation. Congratulations to Angelease, Kendall and Mahnoor on their first step towards a full-ride to college. We have a few additional students that are in the cue and we hope to add to this list by next month! We couldn't be more proud of these amazing young people that are successfully navigating the road to college during these unprecedented times brought on by COVID-19.
We would also like to take a moment to thank our amazing Posse Foundation Coordinator, Board Member, Sheila Gordon. We'd also like to thank past Posse Foundation winners Karl, Diana and Morgan, all mentees from I Am Abel Foundation, that helped to coach and prepare our students for their applications and interviews. Sheila Gordon put together an amazing team of professionals to coach our students from start to finish. We can't wait to see this through to the end. Prayers for our amazing mentees. Best of success!
