
Christian A. Conway Dunham is a dedicated trial lawyer practicing in the areas of criminal and civil litigation at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. She has successfully tried multiple jury cases and over 50 bench trials, and has even argued and won a case before the Illinois Court of Appeals. Alongside her legal career, she is deeply committed to volunteer work and community service. During law school, she volunteered at the Wisconsin Unemployment Appeals Clinic, helping underserved individuals obtain unemployment benefits.
As a practicing attorney, Christian continues her dedication to service by volunteering at expungement clinics, helping individuals clear their criminal records, and at driver exposition fairs, where she assists people in dismissing old traffic cases and regaining their driving privileges.
Christian earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2017 and her B.S. from Emory University in 2013. She also clerked for the Hon. LaShonda A. Hunt of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois from 2018-2019. Additionally, she is an active board member of the I Am Abel Foundation and a proud member of the Black Prosecutors Association.
