
Whistleblower Policy
The I Am Abel Foundation is committed to the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accountability. This policy encourages directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and stakeholders to report suspected misconduct in good faith, including fraud, financial mismanagement, misuse of charitable funds, violations of law, conflicts of interest, ethical misconduct, or unsafe or improper organizational practices. Concerns may be reported to the Executive Director, the Board Chair, any member of the Board of Directors, or by emailing info@iamabel.org, and reports may be made anonymously.
The Foundation strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who raises a concern in good faith, including termination, demotion, harassment, discrimination, or any other adverse action. All reports will be reviewed promptly and handled with appropriate confidentiality, and the Board of Directors will oversee investigations involving senior leadership. Reports made knowingly in bad faith may result in disciplinary action.
