2027 Mental Health Immersion Program

Interested in pursuing a career in mental health? The 2027 Mental Health Immersion Program (MHIP) offers undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to careers in psychology, psychiatry, social work, nursing, and pharmacy. Hosted by the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center and Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, this paid, 8-week summer program includes clinical shadowing, mentorship, educational seminars, and a scholarly project. Selected participants will receive a $3,000 stipend. Applicants must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and meet additional eligibility requirements.
